Lift up your heads, O you gates lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty - he is the King of glory.” (NIV) Psalm 24:8-10 says, “Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. If that is you…can I just remind you as God has reminded me time and time again in this journey…”YOU ARE NOT ALONE!” I want to encourage you to lift up your head and LOOK to the ONE WHO IS MIGHTY IN BATTLE FOR YOU! Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death  my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.” Perhaps you are like me today, and find yourself praying prayers similar to David’s in Psalm 13: “How long, O LORD? How long will my enemy triumph over me? Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. During these encounters I’ve been left wondering…GOD are YOU still there? Have I done something wrong? Have I lost Your favor? Can You hear me anymore? DO YOU CARE? I truly have never experienced more times of feeling alone or alienated from God. He’s challenged the core of my faith (in every area).

I’m not on a mission to cast out demons from a broken down washer and dryer or attempting to pass off a stranded vehicle with an empty gas tank to Satan’s undoing…HOWEVER…Įphesians 6:10-13 says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. As you read this post, don’t worry, I’m not on a witch hunt or looking for demons under every bush.
